Erica Altman, Au.D. is a TeleHear Provider for Starkey HearCare. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the American Auditory Society, and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Dr. Altman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The George Washington University where she graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Altman continued her education at Nova Southeastern University to earn her Doctorate in Audiology.
Dr. Altman specializes in pediatric and adult diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. Her expertise includes selection and fitting of hearing instruments and assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and counseling. She also has experience with fitting of osseointegrated bone anchored devices, cochlear implants, electrophysiologic evaluation, and vestibular assessment. Prior to joining the TeleHear team, Dr. Altman provided services within otolaryngology clinics as well as hospital settings.
Dr. Altman is passionate about providing personalized care to all patients with whom she interacts with. She enjoys working with patients to assist them in finding appropriate hearing solutions for their needs and lifestyle.
In her personal time, Dr. Altman is an avid tennis and pickleball player. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and traveling whenever possible!
