Chelci Gay, Au.D. is a TeleHear Provider for Starkey HearCare.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from Ohio University, where she continued her education to earn her Doctorate of Audiology. Dr. Gay completed her clinical externship training at King’s Daughters Medical Center. Although many of her clinical placements involved hearing loss diagnostics and fitting hearing instruments, Dr. Gay also spent time researching Auditory Psychophysics and Signal Processing.

Dr. Gay specializes in audiological evaluations, aural rehabilitation, and comprehensive vestibular assessment. Prior to joining the Telehear team, Dr. Gay provided comprehensive audiological services to residents and their families in various assisted living facilities. She holds professional licensure in multiple states and is excited to have the opportunity with Starkey Hearcare to help patients nationwide.

Dr. Gay enjoys working with patients and their providers to manage complex audiological cases. She is very passionate about patient education and finding the optimal treatment for each patient’s hearing loss and lifestyle needs.
