Dr. Carrie Overschmidt is a TeleHear Provider for Starkey HearCare. She is an American Board of Audiology Certified Audiologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Dr. Overschmidt earned her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of South Alabama and her Doctoral degree from A.T. Still University. She specializes in pediatric and adult diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, auditory evoked potentials, and the selection and fitting of amplification, tinnitus, and aural rehabilitation. Dr. Overschmidt currently serves on the American Academy of Audiology Guidelines and Strategic Documents Committee. Prior to joining the TeleHear team, Dr. Overschmidt was the Audiology Program Specialist for the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services and a clinical supervisor for the University of South Alabama Speech and Hearing Center.
In her spare time, Dr. Overschmidt enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and fitness training.
