Lauren Foley, Au.D., CCC-A is a TeleHear Provider for Starkey HearCare. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She is a licensed audiologist in multiple states throughout the country with the goal of obtaining licensure in all 50 states.

Dr. Foley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University where she was awarded the Academic Honors Scholarship each year and graduated with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Foley continued her education at Central Michigan University to earn her Doctorate in Audiology. During this time she was awarded the Nicholas Redfield Memorial Scholarship for Academic and Clinical Excellence and was published in AudiologyToday Magazine for her research regarding audiologic risks faced by recreational firearm users. She also enhanced her audiology education and diverse clinical rotations by working as an office manager in a local audiology clinic.

Dr. Foley specializes in adult diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. Her expertise includes selection and fitting of hearing instruments and assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and counseling. She also has experience with fitting of cochlear implants, electrophysiological evaluation, and vestibular assessment. Prior to joining the TeleHear team, Dr. Foley provided services within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, as well as in private practice and a world-renowned otolaryngology clinic. She also spent time as an account manager for a leading hearing aid manufacturer where she provided professional training and technical support to other audiologists and hearing instrument specialists.

Dr. Foley is proud to be a part of the TeleHear team within Starkey HearCare. Having the ability to interact with patients nation-wide through advanced telemedicine technology allows her to reach more people and assist them on the road to better hearing and improved communication with loved ones.
