Dr. Holly Morlas Garcia, Au.D. is a TeleHear Provider for Audibel. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. A New Orleans native, Dr. Garcia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Louisiana State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Garcia continued her education at University of South Alabama, where she obtained both her clinical doctorate in Audiology, Au.D., and research doctorate, Ph.D., in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She completed her clinical externship training at the Durham VA Medical Center affiliated with Duke University School of Medicine.

Dr. Garcia specializes in adult diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. Her expertise includes selection and fitting of hearing instruments and assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and counseling. She also has experience with electrophysiological evaluation, vestibular assessment, and tinnitus management through progressive sound therapy. Prior to joining the TeleHear team, Dr. Garcia provided services primarily within otolaryngology clinics and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.

Dr. Holly Garcia is passionate about facilitating support for patients with hearing and auditory processing disabilities in a comprehensive, collaborative (caregiver approach), and holistic manner to address an individual’s communication and psychosocial needs.

In her spare time, Holly enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring new hiking trails, and gardening alongside her dog and chickens.
